Thame Community Dining and Kitchen Hall

After the devastating earthquake of 2015 in Nepal, Thame village located in Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality, Solukhumbu, Nepal was badly affected with many homes being destroyed and damaged. The community hall which used to provide a common shelter for the community during festivals, group activities, social support, public information, and other purposes was badly damaged. With the kind support of Dr. Stephan Goetz, Dolfgang Pohl and SherpaNepalhilfe from Germany, the dining hall was rebuilt and successfully inaugurated in November 2016.
