Tenzing Norgay Sherpa Scholarship Fund

We are very proud to be working with the Tenzing Norgay Sherpa Foundation, which provides scholarship funding for underprivileged and financially disadvantaged high school students in the Science and Management streams, as well as undergraduate students in the fields of Business and Nursing.

At present, several deserving students are benefiting from this scholarship program.

Lhamu Chutiun Sherpa

Lhamu comes from Thame village, located within the Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality., SoluKhumbu district of Nepal.

She currently lives in Kapan, Kathmandu, Nepal and has been attending Herald International College in Kathmandu. She is studying IT and is her 2nd year and has completed.

Her hobbies are dancing, reading, treks and exploring. After college she plans to do an internship for 1 year in Kathmandu and at the same time look for a job to stand up on her feet and be independent.

Lhamu Chutin Sherpa has successfully completed her academic bachelor’s education on 2 nd June 2026. She is now pursuing further studies / career

Mingma Lhamu Sherpa

Mingma comes from Thame village, located within the Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality, SoluKhumbu district of Nepal. She is currently living in Kapan, Kathmandu and attends KIST College of Management. She passed her SEE studies from Khumjung Secondary School and completed her plus 2 college from Reliance Int. Academy, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Her hobbies include dancing, playing football, reading, treks (tried to climb Lobuche peak and island peak 2019 with an International student group form Basque, Spain) After college she plans to do an internship in a bank and at the same time took for a job in the same field. She also has ambitions to complete her Master’s degree and her ultimate goal is to become a successful entrepreneur.

Tenzing Doma Sherpa

Tenzing comes from Thame theng-5 village, located within the Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality, SoluKhumbu district of Nepal. She is currently living in Kapan, Kathmandu and passed her SEE examinations from Manjughoksha Academy, Kathmandu and is currently studying Management of Computer Science at the Reliance International Academy ,Kathmandu.

She enjoys dancing, reading, watching films.

She is interested in completing her computer science studies and become a Computer Science manager .

Pasang Tshering Sherpa

Pasang comes from Thame theng-5 village, located within the Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality, SoluKhumbu district of Nepal. He is currently living in Boudha, Kathmandu. He passed the SEE examinations from Samboth High School, Kathmandu and joined St. Lawrence College in the Management field.

He is currently studying at the Texas College of Management and IT. Pasang is active in football, basketball, table tennis, swimming, travelling, reading, learning foreign language. He is presently learning French.

After college he intends to do an internship and look for a job in Nepal for 4 years to gain experience and plans to do masters in Data Analysis. His ultimate ambition is to become a Data analyst’s and a Scientist.

Phurba Futi Sherpa

Phurba comes from Thame Teng-5 village, located in Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality, Solukhumbu District, Nepal. She is currently living in Boudha, Kathmandu.

She completed her Secondary Education Examination (SEE) at Khumjung Secondary School, Solukhumbu. After that, she joined Lumbini Academic College, where she studied in the Management stream. At present, She is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) at Reliance College.

Besides her studies, she enjoys traveling, reading books, painting, and learning new things. These hobbies help her broaden her knowledge, improve her creativity, and develop a positive outlook on life.

After completing her bachelor’s degree, she plans to do an internship and work in Nepal for a couple of years to gain practical experience and strengthen her professional skills. Her long-term goal is to become an independent businesswoman by building a successful career and eventually starting her own business. She believes that dedication, continuous learning, and hard work are the keys to achieving her dreams and making a positive contribution to society.

Fura Jangmu Sherpa

Fura comes from Kharikhola-1 village, located within the Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality in the Solukhumbu District of Nepal. She is currently living in kapan, Kathmandu. she completed my SEE examinations at Golden Peak High School, Kathmandu, and later joined Reliance International College in the Science stream.

She actively participates in college programs, literary activities and also other creativity programs. She also enjoys traveling, reading and playing guitar. She is also passionate about expanding my knowledge and is continuously improving herself.

After completing her college, she plans to prepare for the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) and pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Her long-term goal is to become a skilled and compassionate nurse, contribute to the healthcare sector, and serve people with dedication while continuing her professional growth.

Chhimi Dolkar Sherpa

Chhimi comes from Lukla-2 village, located within the Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality in Solukhumbu district of Nepal. She is currently living in Boudha, Kathmandu. She completed her SEE examinations at Shree Mahendra Jyoti Sec. School, Chaurikharka, & later joined Swami College in the science stream.

She is currently studying in an institute “Vibrant” to prepare for the upcoming “CEE” (Common Entrance Exam) in medical field. She actively participates in volleyball, swimming & some time football. She also enjoys traveling, reading, & hanging out with her friends. After giving the “CEE”, She will have to study for 4 years to be a nurse. So, after completing BSc Nursing course, She is planning to do the job in Nepal for around 2 years to gain experience. Than she will go to foreign country to complete her further study to become successful Nurse.

Tsering Wangdi Sherpa

Tsering comes from Khumbu Pasanglhamu Rural Municipality, Ward No. 5, in the Solukhumbu district of Nepal. He is currently living in Attarkhel, Kathmandu. He completed his SEE examinations at Manjughoksha Academy and later joined Venus National College, where he studied Computer Science.

He is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree at Ace Institute of Management. In his free time, Tsering enjoys playing games and watching animated series. He is passionate about technology and creativity and is eager to develop his programming skills.

After completing his studies, Tsering plans to improve his coding abilities and pursue a career in software development. He also hopes to create his own game or learn animation so that he can develop animated content in the future.

Urken Tenzing Sherpa

Urken comes from Thamo, Khumbu Pasanglhamu 05, Solukhumbu, Nepal, and he is currently living in Kapan, Kathmandu. He completed his SEE examinations at Galaxy Public School and later pursued my +2 education in the Management stream with a major in Accounting at Pathshala Nepal Foundation.

He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Ace Institute of Management. He actively participates in football, basketball, badminton, table tennis, and swimming. In his free time, He enjoy trekking, traveling, and learning about different cultures. These experiences have helped him develop teamwork, adaptability, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

After completing my BBA, He plans to undertake internships in different business organizations to gain practical industry experience. His goal is to strengthen his management, leadership, and business skills and eventually become a successful business manager, contributing to the growth and success of the organizations he works with.
